Rumors say that Thunderbolt Ross will be one of the big villains in New World Order, but not necessarily the main one. Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) wearing the new Captain America suit revealed in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier finale. That’s Harrison Ford’s Thunderbolt Ross, of course. She might be there in an official capacity as the daughter of the US President. Then there’s Betty Ross, whose presence is also telling. Not only that, but other US officials might also be present, including members of the army. What’s certain is that the character is important enough for Sam Wilson to show up despite his injury. The scene implies that a major character may have just died, but we have no idea who they might be. Which major character will die in Captain America 4? The characters are dressed in appropriate attire, marking the heartbreaking event. We’re looking at a funeral scene at an Atlanta cemetery where Marvel is shooting New World Order. We also have Liv Tyler, Xosha Roquemore, and Shira Haas. Mackie isn’t the only Captain America 4 character in these scenes. We have no idea how or why Wilson injured his arm, and that’s not the biggest takeaway from these set photos. Some of those alternate wings would have been great, but using a nice balance of the three staple USA colors certainly made the most sense in the end. What looks to have been in contention the most was simply the color and detailing of his accessories, such as the wings. There were clearly plenty of discussions about what color the wings should be to compliment the suit. Now, thanks to a new art book, the world can see some of what might have made it onto the screen in a different timeline. Needless to say, the accuracy of Captain America’s suit was loved by fans. Instead of mostly red with white detailing, Wilson now flew around in full star-spangled red, white, and blue-even Red Wing got a new paint job. Its design, a vibranium upgrade straight from Wakanda, looked like it was ripped from the comics. The big choice came in the finale of the show, and it’s there that his new mantle and Cap outfit debuted. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Disney+ series followed his journey of self-discovery as he figured out what it meant to hold the mantle Steve Rogers left behind. One of the biggest moments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe last year was undoubtedly when Sam Wilson finally took on the shield and became Captain America.
